Good health is key to a persons happiness and wellbeing, as well as to economic progress at large, as healthy members of society live longer, are more productive and save more.
Taking care of health is our sole responsibility but the vulnerable sector of the society are kept untouched with the basic health care facilities. They are not even able to get the basic facilities of the society and at the end, they come in the trap of a number of chronic and acute disease. The Udyat foundation has taken its initiative for getting these disparities removed. They are providing the highest level of health facilities to the children, adult and elders across the remote areas of the country.
Health is fundamental to all aspects of development.
Our commitment is to integrate the gender, caste, class and rights analysis within the wider context of other social relations in order to emphasize the complexity of existing power relations that result in exclusion and marginalization. The usual disease-doctor-drugs approach to health is not sufficient to meet the health needs of the people, especially that of the marginalized and disadvantaged communities. There is a growing need to develop a broader understanding of health which includes health care services and determinants of health, and initiate interventions that enable and empower people to have greater control over their physical, social, and political environments, all of which influence their health.
